FOOTGOLF RULES OF PLAY – STONHAM BARNS - ENJOY YOU GAME
FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The game is played with a regulation #5 football at a golf course facility on shortened holes with 21 inch diameter cups. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf. FootGolf as a game is played throughout the world and it is regulated by the Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG).

- Dress – Casual / Shoes - Astros / Trainers - No Football Boots
- No shouting or bad language – please respect the golfers and the course
- No Alcohol allowed on the course
- No practice kicks on the course / No Running
- Do not kick off until the group ahead are clear of the green (golf & footgolf)
- Football - Supplied if required (size 5) - Lost balls will be charged at £10
- Maintain a good pace, rake bunkers, and use normal golf etiquette
PLAY
- 18 Holes – Play round the 9 holes twice
- Directions - Holes 1-6 follows left hedge (4th & 6th doglegs left at corner)
- Play will be in groups of up to 5 players
- Kick Off from White Posts and play to the White Flags
- Scoring (same as golf) with every kick to count & no placing /moving ball
- Maximum Score is 10 for each hole
RULES
- Tee of in line with the tee markers (no part of the ball should be in front of this line)
- Wait for the ball to come to a complete stop before your next kick
- The player further from the hole should play first
- Kicking the ball - This must be done in a single motion and the sole of the foot may not be use
- Marking the ball – When ball obstructs the line of another player then the ball may be marked with a small object
- Play the ball from where it lies (or take a one shot penalty drop within 2 steps of the nearest point of relief)
- All ditches, water hazards, out of bounds, unplayable lie and lost ball - drop the ball within 2 steps of the nearest point back on the course – One Shot Penalty
