12 year old Jasmine Points from Bury St Edmunds  Golf Club won the 19th Stonham Junior Players Championship with a very good score of 37. She won by one shot over her 10 year old brother Johnathan with Imogen Potter in 3rd place.
In the age categories Tobias Maynard won the Under 8 trophy, Johnathan Points won the Under 10 trophy and Hayden Beckett won the Under 15 trophy.
This event is always the last event of the season at Stonham Barns and even though some of the past winners have gone on to become England Internationals and Professional Tour players, the aim of this event and other events here at Stonham is just to make golf enjoyable and rewarding for the youngsters whatever level they achieve. Well done to all the players who all went away with goody bags, prizes and a free round on the Smugglers Bay Adventure Golf.
